Sleep Training.
Has Begun.
To teach Sydney to go to sleep on her own in her crib.
I'm not very excited about it.
But it needs to be done.
The amount of sleep Sydney and I get will without a doubt decrease.
But in the long run it will be SO nice.
Wish me luck.
Next time you see me I might be cranky from lack of sleep. And now you know why.
Don't say I didn't warn you.
Good luck! Call me if you need a nap. I understand.
ReplyDeleteWhat does this all entail? Sounds brutal! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks Julie! I may take you up on that...we will see how it goes. And Tami, Sydney has been sleeping in her car seat (I know Im a bad parent! haha!) because that is where she has slept the best since she was about 2 weeks old. She also requires us feeding her a bottle and rocking her to sleep every night and naptime. SO we are starting with nap times and putting her in her crib when shes awake to fall asleep on her own. It involves some crying. But so far not too bad. Normally 30 minutes or less. After about a week we will do this at night as well, after shes somewhat used to sleeping in her crib. So far the naptimes arent so bad, mainly because Im not losing any sleep. But as soon as the night training starts Im sure its going to be a whole lot of fun for us!
